Power Saving Operation of Borehole Pumps ЭЦВ
Summary
It is told about selection of the most efficient method of regulation of pump units equipped with borehole pumps ЭЦВ. The use of a frequency electric drive, as a rule, is inefficient, because of the large static component and small dynamic component of the total pressure created by pumps. Cascade regulation is recommended for this type of units.

Productivity of a Complex of Equipment for Trenchless Repair of Pipelines by Means of a Combined Sleeve Drawing
Summary
Methods of the determination of productivity of the complex of equipment for trenchless repair of pipelines by means of composite covering in the course of drawing the combined sleeve with due regard for influence of basic constructive and technological features is offered. Reserves of the productivity increase owing to enlargement of the bay’s length, combination of some operations, taking into account characteristics of covering and other factors are determined. Five conditions of the equally effective designing of details of the complex of equipment are formulated.

Assessment of Output of Pumping-Filtration Units in Skimmer Pools by Indications of a Manometer
Summary
In the systems of water treatment of swimming skimmer pools in the absence of water meters, the control over the circulating pump capacity is possible only with the help of the manometer mounted at the high-rate pressure filter. But, as a rule, indications of the manometer do not coincide with the pump delivery head. That’s why during the mounting of the pool’s water treatment system it is reasonable to install temporarily a water meter at the pressure line to get experimental manometer indications – a water discharge curve. These tests can be conducted only at the completely assembled line from skimmers to the point of installation of the manometer and the filter filled with filtering media.
