Computerized support of the Moscow water pipeline renovation scheduling strategy
Summary
Comprehensive evaluation of the expediency criteria of pipeline relaying or renovating involves a lot of calculations, large bulk of operating and diagnostic data processing. It becomes possible only if computer-aided programs are available that provide for a basis for a valid assessment of the pipeline renovation project and scope of work. Scheduling Pipe Renovation program has been designed by MosvodokanalNIIproject OJSC in cooperation with Mosvodokanal MPUE and used for Moscow water pipeline maintenance.

New CP 517.1325800.2022 «Operation of the public water supply and wastewater disposal systems, structures»
Summary
The information on the new Code of Practice CP 517.1325800.2022 «Operation of the public water supply and wastewater disposal systems, structures» is presented. The development of the Code of Practice was carried out by the order of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation as part of the national project «Housing and urban environment» up to the year 2024 in terms of providing for the improvement of the technical regulation system for updating the acting regulatory and technical documents for retrofitting advanced technologies and establishing restrictions on the use of obsolete technologies in design, construction and operation. The purpose of developing a new Code of Practice has been as follows: compiling a single document of the federal level that establishes the recommendations and industry regulatory requirements for all the basic stages of operating public systems and facilities for water supply and wastewater disposal; establishing comprehensive requirements that guarantee the adoption of the most effective and safe technical solutions based on the generalized experience in the design and operation of public water supply and wastewater disposal systems; accounting for the provisions put into force in the period 2019–2021 of the regulatory documents for the water industry; accounting for the results of scientific research. The Code of Practice reflects the current features of the operation of public systems and structures for water supply and wastewater disposal, taking into account the innovative methods and technologies for their repair, maintenance and reconstruction.

Regulatory and legal framework in the field of water supply and sanitation
Summary
At present the approach to the process of developing a new regulatory framework and product quality control has been essentially changed. «MosvodokanalNIIproject» JSC already 80 years has been designing water supply and sanitation systems with the use of the RF regulatory and legal framework. Aside from designing the Institute has been well experienced in developing regulatory documents (sanitary norms and rules, codes of practice etc.). The analysis of the regulatory and legal framework conducted in the field of designing, constructing and operating water supply and sanitation systems shows that this matter has been settled at the federal level; however, at the regional level its in-depth analysis is needed. Every so often improvement and, in some cases, revision of the approved key documents is required. Avoiding shortfalls in the regulatory framework is possible only with the careful analysis of the technical and technological solutions involving a wide range of experts and with the correct amendments to the effective regulatory and legal acts.

The system of operation of the Samara Region sewerage system
Summary
The results of analyzing the operation of the Samara Region sewerage system are presented. The state bodies have been involved in supervising the operation of sewer networks and wastewater disposal facilities. Information is given on the number of wastewater treatment facilities located in the municipalities of the Samara Region, and their affiliation with operating organizations. Through the example of the Bezenchukskii District of the Samara Region, the system of operating the sewerage system is considered. Subsequent to the results of the surveys of the wastewater treatment facilities a comparison was made of the actual inflow of wastewater with the design characteristics of the facilities, the quality of effluent based on MPC for fishery water bodies. Conclusions are drawn on the specific features of the operation of the facilities, taking into account the changes in the qualitative and quantitative indicators of raw wastewater.
