Unified head for the observation wells of drinking groundwater deposits

Summary

The authors of the article have developed a unified head of an observation well of drinking groundwater deposits, equipped with telemetric transmitting stations. This device was tested in the observation wells of the Avachinsky water intake of the Elizovski deposit of drinking groundwater (Kamchatka Krai). The results of measurements of the air temperature in the well showed that the thermal insulation casing prevented the occurrence of negative temperatures inside the ground part of the well thus providing for the reliable functioning of the power cells of the telemetry station in the autumn-winter period. A protective cover provided for the protection of the thermal insulation from the impact of ultraviolet radiation and moisture during the testing period.

Improved design of the head of an emergency blowing well

Summary

An improved design of the head is proposed, that belongs to the technical means designed to prevent outflows from emergency blowing wells not equipped with a connecting flange at the drinking groundwater intakes. The use of the head, in comparison with similar devices, provides for the following advantages: a decrease in metal consumption by about 50%, a decrease in labor factory hours by about 80%. Testing and retrofitting the head of the proposed design were carried out at No. 44 exploratory well of the Bystrinskoe ground drinking water deposit (the Kamchatka Region).

Improved design of the head of a blowing production well

Summary

An improved design of the head for a blowing production well for drinking underground water intakes is proposed. A well head is assigned to the technical means for continuous monitoring of the operating mode and hydrogeological monitoring of water intakes. The head is used in wells located in unguarded areas. The installation of the head provides for the automated control of wells and monitoring of underground drinking water, while increasing the accuracy of measurements of the control parameters of underground waters.
