Integral control of pressure holding pump operation
Summary
The substantiation of the efficiency of the integral control of pressure holding pump operation in domestic water supply systems on the basis of the theoretic calculations, results of field studies of booster stations (water flow rate, pressure in suction and pressure pipelines) and pressure surveys in plumbing fixtures is presented. The diagrams of «pump-water main» working point movement at different control methods are given. The resource and power conservation efficiency of the integral control of pressure holding pump operation is determined. The recommendations on introducing integral control at block pumping stations are given.
